"When you're offended by something, everyone has to stand up and listen to Alf Stewart"
skteosk18 May 2015
Warning: Spoilers
A nice parallel between Alf's moral guardian stance and Don's belief in literary and political honesty.Alf is on his high horse a fair bit without really having a leg to stand on, with others like Pippa, Ailsa and Marilyn trying to play the middle ground and Tiegan and Justine finding themselves with the spotlight on them.Marilyn's apparent ignorance of just how much like the classics this is leads in to Alf and Ailsa not bothering to check just what film their son has just gone to see...

Meanwhile, Vinnie returns and asks Pippa for a job. There's a certain charm about the character and his rags to riches tale that just about triumphs over his inherent laziness and there's some good stuff between him and Justine.
