The Richmond campaign is now in a dead heat. His suicide announcement has made him more human plus moving away from suspicions of Rosie's death. Now the bulldogs are Sarah and Stephen as they wend their way through the Mayor's office and finagle favors because they threaten the release of evidence. Stan comes home and Mitch is there. She is embraced by one son but the older one won't talk to her. The conflict continues. Remember that Stan was buying a house. He suggests that they move there, but she sees it as a betrayal of Rosie. She would rather bathe herself in pity. The detectives are finally able to see the security tapes of the elevator on the night Rosie lost her life. They make an amazing discovery.
