For many older viewers, Jennifer Garner’s portrayal of Elektra holds a special place in their hearts, despite the flaws of her standalone movie. However, when Netflix produced Marvel shows, Elodie Yung won fans over with her portrayal of the youthful assassin and Daredevil’s love interest.
Now it’s confirmed that Garner will return as Elektra in the upcoming ‘Daredevil & Wolverine.’ With ‘Echo’ incorporating elements from the ‘Defenders’ storyline, fans are hopeful for Yung’s return as Elektra in the MCU. Yung herself acknowledged the constant inquiries about the role in an interview with toofab.

But back when Netflix was making shows based on Marvel characters, Elodie Yung embodied the young assassin and Daredevil’s love interest and fans took quite a liking to her.
Now it’s been confirmed that Garner will reprise her role as Elektra in the upcoming ‘Daredevil & Wolverine,’ and since ‘Echo’ has canonized a good portion of the ‘Defenders’ saga plenty of fans have been hoping that Elodie Yung will make a return as Elektra in the MCU. Reynolds was already familiar with Jackson before their 2017 action film Hitman’s Bodyguard. The actor had a chance encounter with Jackson while working on another project.
“Sam is someone I’ve known for 12 years,” Reynolds said in a 2017 interview with the LA Times. “We met in physical therapy. I was training for Blade 3 and I was having my shoulders fixed, and he was having something else fixed. I would see him there every day.”
Jackson had already taken a liking to his future co-star, revealing himself to be a fan of Reynolds’ own work as well.

Universal has moved “Strays” from June 9 to August 18, placing the R-rated talking-animal comedy in the same general release slot where the likes of “Good Boys” and “We’re The Millers” found fortune and glory in years prior. Now, instead of opening against “Transformers: Rise of the Beast,” itself something of a talking-animal tentpole, it’ll square off against DC’s “Blue Beetle.”

Salma Hayek Pinault Was Told She Was Too 'Sexy' For Comedy Until Adam Sandler's Grown Ups Came Along
As a producer, Adam Sandler has always managed to attract an impressive litany of talent. Although the films released through Sandler's studio, Happy Madison, regularly get terrible reviews, they tend to be very lucrative and high-profile actors keep coming back for more work. This may be because, as the rumor mill has it, Sandler is a relentlessly decent and kind human being that others love to work with. As such, Al Pacino can be seen in "Jack and Jill," Susan Sarandon appeared in "That's My Boy," and the likes of Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Aniston, and Winona Ryder have all played Sandler's wife or love interest in his movies.
In Dennis Dugan's 2010 film "Grown Ups," Salma Hayek Pinault plays Roxanne, a successful fashion designer, and the wife of a talent agent named Lenny (Sandler). "Grown Ups" is about how Lenny is still very close with the circle of...

Salma Hayek Pinault has had quite the career. The actress has starred in some of the most action-packed films in the last couple of decades. "Desperado" — the first film in Robert Rodriguez's "Mexico Trilogy" — is a thrilling neo-western that helped thrust her into the Hollywood spotlight with her role as Carolina, and she's appeared in multiple action- or suspense-heavy films in the years since. Her filmography includes everything from 1999's "Wild Wild West" to the more recent "The Hitman's Bodyguard" and its 2021 sequel.
While Hayek Pinault tends to portray characters in pretty dangerous situations, she has also shifted her focus to more serious roles. In 2003, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of the artist Frida Kahlo in Julie Taymor's "Frida." This nomination made her the first Mexican actress to ever be nominated for the category.

Ryan Reynolds has pioneered the type of fast-talking, quippy characters that seem to be so popular with today's mainstream audiences. It's somewhat ironic that Reynolds is finding so much success right now because, for years, it seemed like he was doomed to be one of those great actors that nobody took seriously.
Reynolds appeared in several disastrous comic book movies that fell way beneath fans' expectations. He's not particularly bad in "Blade: Trinity," "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," or "Green Lantern," but the films did not give him the type of recurring roles that best suited his talents. However, "Deadpool" gave Reynolds a chance to both do his best work and reflect on his earlier failures. It's a testament to his belief in the project that "Deadpool" finally became the success that he had always suspected it would be. Following the positive reception to the film, Reynolds joined additional franchises with "Free Guy,...

Jackson and Salma Hayek, to the AARP all-star actioners The Expendables, which revived the careers of many a Millennium veteran. Expendables 4 hits the- aters next year.
