For me, it is one of most powerful against war manifestos. A general and his order to front. The ierarchy to the military looking the officer in charge, in a deep chaos , for give the precious order. And the desperate last solution. Result - a great film, remembering Hitler in the last part of WWII, the cynical perspective, behind the war operations theater, about soldiers and their sacrifice, a cold, bitter poem about two so different universes and a memorable last scene. Without a real budget, a pure masterpiece.
