Boyd and the team are on a brutal case, the victim was burned, and had had their eyes removed, it's similar to a case that happened some years back.
Wow, another brilliant episode from this fantastic final series, Care begins in harrowing, but dramatic style, and refuses to let up for a minute. A plot worthy of a horror film, this is one that's designed to give you nightmares, the character of The Bagman is a really great one, better than many masked figures you see in horror films.
The story is bleak, and you just know it's going to get darker as it concludes.
It is always wonderful to see Alice Krige, unusual to see her in a TV drama role, but she is astonishing. Credit also to Mary Jo Randle, who is terrific here also. The acting is of such a high standard.
