Jesse was killed and how that the team tried to workout a case without a leader as all of them have to rely upon one another and will for another episode or two.

But a young deranged man that was rejected and disliked women and how he targeted them over being rejected. He goes on a murderous spree including kidnapping a bride that rejected him as her groom was tragically killed.

And now there is a copycat there. Who is obsessed with following his lead. As the team must stop the two men, a former student of Erik's the villain of the week, and his so called accomplice like Jericho, yes that is his name also there

The team must stop them before all he*l breaks loose there. Nice ending to remember Jess and that there are some tension over his death. But they face it as colleagues and family.

It is interesting how shows love to portray incels like the stereotypical woman hating profile that talks nonsense and just wants to dominate women.. but they forget to look deeper into the situation.. which obviously wouldnt matter in a show like this..

suffice to say, it would have been interesting for a show to have the balls to portray the results of a woman falsely accusing a guy, wouldn't you say?

It would fit in a show like this.. dude gets out of jail after some years, maybe he got "graped" in prison, so he is raging to get some payback..

it would have been similar to episode 13 where the "killer of the week" was the father of a missing teenager.. someone the team could empathize..

but you will never see a show trying that, will we?

Mixed emotions/where is Tali?

Warning: Spoilers
No tears shed for Jess as Julian McMahon was selfish.

This episode reminds me of the senseless murder of singer Christina Grimmie in 2016. A deranged man in Florida took several steps to improve/change his appearance in the months before the murder. He killed himself after Grimmie's brother tackled him but was unable to disarm him. No motive has ever been revealed but untreated mental illness is a link between Grimmie's killer and the one in this episode (Erik).

The huge problem with this episode is the maid of honor failed to tell the FBI that Erik may have had plastic surgery in an effort to win the affections of the bride. There's no doubt the maid of honor realized this was the case. It leads to a very awkward situation when agents interview Erik's parents. It was either a conscious and stupid decision by the writers or they forgot to include that fact in the script. It's bad enough that viewers/fans are dealing with the loss of Jess/Julian McMahon only because he wanted out of his contract.

By the way, why has Tali been absent since her dad's death? Did the young actress object to Julian McMahon's decision to leave the show? Jess' funeral may have been excluded from this episode because Tali would have to be present. Tali going to boarding school may have been the solution to the actress not wanting to be involved - not wanting to portray a grieving daughter - only because of Julian McMahon's selfish decision. I certainly can understand that.

One redeeming scene was Kristin and Ortiz taking down Erik. Ortiz slamming him to the ground while controlling the scalpel in the killer's right hand was awesome. Ortiz also took out the copycat killer. He has quietly moved into the slot previously held by Kenny Crosby, first agent through the door every time.
