Although this movie is set in inner Melbourne, it is just as important today as it was on its release all those years ago. You can translate this experience to any city or town in the world. Very often, the most vulnerable are the most invisible. A minor masterpiece. As it happens, I know of these people. Although I know them, I have seen similar in the USA and the UK. Watch and enjoy. Dated, but identical to today's life experiences.
