I'm not sure what they're after but this episode fell short, shorter than others. If Marja Lewis Ryan has much pull with writing as she says then she needs to go. Seriously. It's going to be her or the show. They take Shane out during a major part of her character arc for one episode and then have her missing thanksgiving dinner that's being hosted at her own bar. Meanwhile Tess, who's mom just died, is working the dinner. Space is one thing but that doesn't even make sense. Instead they are bringing in new characters at the end of the season and building storylines around recurring guest stars. The end is going to be a mess or rushed. We don't even know if there will be a next season.
