2 songs in 1 video. It's quite alright

The gathering of titles were impressive enough to make me watch this music video by Muse. Some facts and I had to learn on the hard way: the junction of titles does not mean it's actually the title of the song, in fact the video has two songs for the prize of one video. "JFK" is an audio speech that doesn't sound as something he'd say though the voice looks quite the real deal (but definitely an actor reciting those lines about revolution by night or something along the lines) and when this moment appears some Kennedy clips appear; moving along comes "Defector" dealing about the idealism of facing the world with courage and ignoring the oposition. As for images, besides politicians, war or Snowden, for most of the time we have Muse performing the song on a TV show but the images on the screen are jumpy and faulty, almost as if we're seeing a broken television and keywords from the music appear largely on the screen. Not the most exciting idea for a music video but it works anyway, it's watchable and the song although carrying Muse's style, has some fine echoes of Queen in it - there's no better band to get inspiration from and I know Matthew Bellamy is a huge Queen fan. Well-done, they got some Queen vibes with this song. 7/10.
