When I see Peter Delouise directing, I know it's usually due to the writers being behind schedule; or, if will be at least a "fill in" episode. This goes for most of the Stargate SG1 and the spinoff shows as well. In this particular case, about half of the show is "filler"; meaning showing scenes from previous shows. Also, you know the entire plot within the first 5 minutes. There is no way anyone is going to make it to "Alfredos" restaurant.
