Brilliant from Dakota Blue Richards.
Sleepin_Dragon11 January 2018
Franky arrives in Bristol after having had grief in her previous college in Oxford, on her first day she upsets Queen Bee Mini, she falls in with her and her friends but soon falls foul of Mini's jealousy and true nature. It gets a ten purely and simply for the performance of Dakota Blue Richards, an absolutely sensational performance from her. She shows Franky's true inner torment, her rebelling against a world that she has no wish to be part of. Skins is always quality viewing, and series five is meaningful, relevant, quality drama.

Terrible

What an atrocious direction to go with a once amazing show. This characters are not likeable in any way at all. Annoys me how much of a downgrade gen 3 is compared to gen 1. Doesn't even feel like skins and is simply not enjoyable at all.

*Locker Rooms Need To Become PRIVATE, UNIVERSAL!*
vivianla31 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It is Franky's first day and already she was not informed (totally get her when this happens) about her schedule. She has gym first period and doesn't have clothes so she is given used clothes (disgusting and I hate wearing used clothes). She is directed to the girls' change room on the right and is stared at by two boys for her more masculine appearance.

Inside the change room everyone is changing in front of each other. Everyone is in their bras and panties. A spray of body spray gets Franky sputtering. Franky uncomfortably changes out of her clothes and into the dirty used gym clothes. A popular girl named Mini makes fun of her.

This is 2020 - I still cannot believe one is forced to change in front of another. I remember in 13 Reasons Why the main girl says how antiquated the locker room setup is and I agree. Just because there are no boys around doesn't mean you have to go all nude. It should be somebody's choice and there should be private stalls that don't make anyone feel the odd one out for choosing to do so. In White Chicks I like the one-person curtain they have backstage. Having universal rooms is a great idea and already being implemented in University of Toronto and University of Guelph. Note: I don't identify as LGBTQ - I feel so bad for those like Frankie.

Mini (the popular girl) has her hair done really pretty in a side pony. She takes Frankie out to shopping with her two girlfriends and they try on makeup and dresses for Mini's party.

Franky wears grey eye shadow and a sleeveless top. She also wears long shorts. Everyone stares at her as she walks by (I think because she looks good?).

Franky goes to the party and Mini wants her out. One of Mini's friends and two boys kidnap Franky to take her to a pool. There, one boy goes full nude and the girl strips to her underwear. Franky hesitates not sure what to do and I feel so bad for her. She decides to keep her white top on and strip bottoms to her panties.
