1. Ung and Yeonsu run away
2. NJ does some volunteering
3. Ung and Yeonsu are kidnapped
I thought this episode was ok. Felt more like a filler episode. One particular thing I enjoyed about it is the whole NJ storyline. Definitely added some depth to the character with the whole volunteering with people who made nasty comments about her. It shows that her character is not a braindead celeb but an actual human bering with many sides to them. Also the love triangle (somewhat) is official because now Ung knows officially that NJ is into him. Love how small their town is so they just keep conveniently running into each other.
I didn't particularly enjoy how Ung and Yeonsu's relationship are suddenly so documentary-centric. They run away because of filming date (and conveniently find each other and have food together). They are taken hostage into a trip for filming purposes, which is pretty ridiculous of a premise already. It depends on how they hash it out but I am not a huge fan of this kind of writing of their relationship. It comes off as very artificial and staged many times. I understand that the documentary is a plot device used to create conflict points but they've been using it well until this episode, where they had that effect most pronounced.
I don't think this episode harms the series so far, but it kinda showed the possibility of potential pitfalls. Regardless, still enjoyable.
