Ok, the plot is thickening... We are observing lots of potential relationship conflicts.

The documentary officially starts filming and it's leading to a lot of disastrous moments between our couple. But it's cute that they are so awkward with each other and that they both regret the harsh things they said to one another. It looks like their chemistry or lingering feelings still exist. I've never been in a relationship that long but I can't imagine what it would feel like to attempt to do something with that relationship again. We also see moments like where Yeonsu is staying late to write a rebuttal to the plagiarism accusation. While that could mean that she's just trying to save the project, it could also mean that she cares for the reputation of Ung - a duality perhaps.

Lots of love triangle forming - NJ and Ung; Jiwoong and the assistant; Doyul and Yeonsu (although this one is not as clear who like who but it's clear that Ung is feeling some level of jealousy and that's why he also spend his time trying to look good to the party). These developments are pretty well done. It doesn't seem forced or arbritary for the sake of the plot so honestly, peak rom com. I like it when shows dive a little deeper into their characters and I think this episode did that quite a bit so I wanted to give a higher rating.

Some of the interesting interactions were also highlighted by NJ and Ung. Pretty much the first positive interaction between them and it also shows that NJ is not just a braindead rich celeb, which is nice. Another interesting interaction was between the rival artist and Ung. It seems like they have some history between each other but now the stakes are higher because apparently unbeknownst to Ung and Yeonsu, they've been paired for the show. I liked this sequence especially because many people would anticipate something romantic happening between Yeonsu and Ung in this fancy setting while they both look their best. Instead they introduce a gigantic conflict and an obstacle between to subvert the expectations. Good writing choice.

So far, so good. Things are stepping up in the 4th episode of the series.
