- There's some innuendo when Rodrick tries to get the tickets out of his underwear.
- Greg runs around in his underwear and is accused of being a peeping tom by elderly women in the women's restroom.

- A character who's asleep gets thrown out the door, not really in a harmful way.
- Greg and Rodrick argue a lot but they never fight.
- Greg is injured throughout the movie, like he trips and a speaker falls on him, his stomach is stomped by a door.

- Greg and Rodrick ends up grounded for lying to their parents about the party they threw (and throwing the party in the first place). This might be upsetting/frightening to some children. (Though, most viewers might find nothing wrong with this scene)
- Some of Greg's outbursts can scare younger viewers. Rodrick also abuses Greg commonly throughout the movie.
