The movie features a compelling leading female character who portrays deep emotional struggles, particularly depression. She carries the weight of her difficulties alone, unable to confide in her husband or son. Her performance captivates me.

Great movie about living life

The struggles of the main character are brought upon by her self-imposed responsibility to carry the heavier load without expressing or even recognizing her own exhaustion. She was easy and quiet. She let her sister borrow huge amount of money which she herself did not have and had to resort to lending out money on usury to help her sister. Why don't her sister do that herself? Or did the main character think only her can handle the burden of it? So much so that she had suffered in silence for a long time. And she'd rather steal the bank instead of asking her loved ones for help.

Becase she never dared to take much space in other people's presence, as soon as she communicate her needs, people went wild, especially her husband because it was inconvenient for him.

But in the end, as the consequences of her lack of boundaries pushed her to the edge of life, she found a way to live life the way she wanted - listening to her own needs without questioning or repressing it.

Emotional, well written and unconventional

This incredible collaboration, is definitely an artistic and ever incredible piece of filmmaking in every sense of the word.

The director is an incredible and auteristic one, that adds yet another incredible and unique testament to the filmography. Very well written, unconventional, well paced, funny and dramatic - and some stellar, career defining acting for sure.

The cinematography, cutting and editing is unique, ever beautiful and overall very beautifully put together indeed.

Overall, definitely an incredible film, that I would highly recommend for any lover of film. It's indeed an incredible arthouse piece for the ages.
