During some construction work, the bones of a man are discovered. Is it Tommy Burke? A man who left the village, and never heard of since.
Episode one, and I'm not sure, it's certainly different, and it's certainly light, easy viewing. I'm hoping it gets better as it progresses, and decided what it is, is it a comedy, a straight drama, or a mystery, it feels like a bit of each. If you're into shows like Shakespeare and Hathaway, Mallorca Files etc, you'll enjoy it.
Cork looks absolutely sensational, it is a picturesque place, and they made the most of it.
Conleith Hill, as always, terrific, very different from his character in the recent Magpie Murders.
I am told I have quite a strong accent, so I am in no place to judge, but I did need to have the subtitles on, some of it was hard to catch.
6/10.
