Beautiful. As blue as the sea and yellow as the sun.

Deeply moving and touching. Telling about friendship and love between a mother - a daugter - and a sister. Although it describes the loss of close people and trauma casued by terrible events, the film is very optimistic. It shows great emotions and passions. You can see bautiful pictures and colours of which blue as the sea and yellow as the the sun are dominant. The music colerates with the pictures. The main character Houria played by Lyna Khoudri enchants us by her way of dancing and moving. She is the inspiration for other women in this film and together they are strong. They learn to dance, to laugh, to live the life. Beautiful!

Wonderful and somber start to the movie season

Warning: Spoilers
The fall movie season comes to a very promising start with this wonderful picture by a great director.

The plot showcases is one very somber to say the least, and one with no real happy endings, and lots of emotions. It is definitely incredibly well-acted and deserving of awards.

The cinematography, cutting and editing is great - and the film builds upon very powerful imagery that adds to its distinct greatness.

Overall, truly an incredible film that promises a great start to the next movie season, and of course, one that is definitely very much recommended for any lover of film. Give it a watch for sure!
