So many people in these reviews are so butt hurt that gay people exist in this storyline. I'm not sure where they've been these last two seasons bc these characters have always been gay... anyways.. this episode was great! Loved the cliff hanger at the end even though it's maybe not plausible but neither is an orbiting hotel. I think some of it is giving soap opera a bit, like Kelly's storyline but nonetheless still enjoyable!

So he will get away with it, blame the dead person, at least he has got over his drugs and anger issues makes sense NOT
People this is a TV Series a very good TV Series, but it's a TV Series. I don't know why people are so upset about the Gay President, what would happen if Boris was Gay or Biden? Who gives a Royal F@@K. As long as they can do their jobs, maybe Boris might have done a better job. The colour of people's skin, their religion, if they are straight or gay underneath we are all Blood and Bone people, we all Bleed Red. What does that tell you?
The 2nd episode of season 1 you knew where this series was going, attacking "Operation Paperclip" powerful scenes and the question they asked was very valid, without the Nazi scientists there would have been NO Space Race. Maybe years later it would have happened but the V2 sort of showed the US and the Russians how to speed things up and who to get.
The twist with the Korean bloke was stupid but clever as he was the 1st on Mars. But it should have ended after season 2.
It has become a soap opera as people say, but like anything eg: Lost, if it's a success and makes money they they will keep making it and as we saw with Lost the ending was, the thing the writers denied it was after season 1.
It's all about the money folks!
I will be buying season 1 and 2 but not season 3.

It is ridiculous beyond belief that NASA or anyone else overseeing a mission like this would allow a potentially fertile uterus-having astronaut to go on a two-year mission to be the first crew on another planet without a contraceptive implant or IUD. It just would not happen - the risks of pregnancy and childbirth are too great, let alone the complications of then having a newborn infant to feed and care for in that environment with resources that were carefully planned for a specific number of people. And if there was a contraceptive failure, they probably would be given no choice but to have an abortion, as that would be much safer than childbirth. Just couldn't suspend my disbelief this far.
I cannot believe this...

Every storyline in this episode was amazing. I cried when I saw those two women kissing on TV after Wilson's speech. I know how empowering it must have felt to them that their president is gay. I cried again when I saw Will Tyler's reaction. And then Kelly collapsed and I cried again, this time out of shock. And finally they leave with such a cliffhanger. I did not even really like this show before this season (i thought it was okay but nothing special), but wow has it blown me away. I loved the entire season this far but this episode blows them all away. This series is now in my top 10.

I was enjoying this episode for the most part. I'm hopeful that this will bring resolution to the lesbian President storyline and that season four isn't all about that. It shouldn't be that big of deal in any timeline, and focusing on it in this show is making it a bigger deal than it should be.
I was good with the Mars stuff, for the most part, until the last five minutes of this episode. What? There is no way anyone would get anyone to Mars like that without NASA, the Russians, and Helios knowing about it. Absolutely no way. Let's hope the opening of next week's episode resolves hallucinations from lack of oxygen or something, because that pivot in the storyline was just outright stupid.
I dinged my rating by two stars simply because of that last plot twist. Idiotic beyond belief.

Pleasy be more accurate- too many factual errors

I love the show in general. That is also why I am so dissappinted when they make factual errors that could easily be avoided. That has happened a lot in season 3: almost always errors against technical aspects. You must surely know that a show with this theme would attract people that have some technical knowledge? Why not hire yechnical specialists in order to make sure that whet they do and say is correct? In this episode Kelly is found unconscious. They say she has pre enclampsia. That is impossible: in a previous episode she has said that her blood type is A positive. Only people with rhesus negative blood can have pre enclampsia problems. This is not a hard fact to check. Yet the writers do not seem to care about badic biology facts. That is really a pity.
Dumb, Dumber, Dumberer, and Dumbest

The greatest achievement in the history of Humankind and the creators of the show spend half the episode not even on the politics behind such a feat but the sexual orientation of two characters no one is interested in.
Of course everyone should be treated with respect and have access to the same opportunities to prove themselves, but this isn't the venue for that, especially when it relegates a mission to Mars to the background.
All science and logic regarding said mission remain missing in action for season three, meaning there is nothing in this show for space and science enthusiasts. That final reveal was monumentally stupid and makes no sense.
As was the case with the Battlestar Galactica remake, Ron Moore had a good idea but no idea where to take it over the course of a series, making it up as he went while clearly becoming bored with it.
They might as well stick a fork in this show.

Race to Mars

For All Mankind: Season 3 fast forward to the summer of 1995 and Clinton loses his campaign for presidency to Jodi Balfour who still hides her sexuality from public scrutiny. In the meantime, mankind enters the race to land on Mars where we find NASA, the Russians and a person like Elon Musk named Dev Ayessa played by Edi Gathegi who personally finances his goal to be the first to reach the red planet. I found this season to be more political and fighting for the rights of a person's sexuality. The CGI effects in space took a back seat and it seemed very animated and unrealistic. I was hoping we could have had a better showing but it just was not as good as other shows. The series took a page out of the Martian movie with Matt Damon to rescue a pregnant girl off the red planet. Let's see where the fourth season will take mankind.
What a ridiculous turn of events....again.

Why am I punishing myself. This pandering is getting old. This is SPACE. We are on MARS and yet...it's another episode of the young and the restless. We get it, you neeeeeed to make your point. It just so dang tiring. Every show hassss to make its social justice point. I'm glad this is over, for now. Until next time! Bye Bob.
I love this show, BUT..

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love this show. This late in the season, For All Mankind decided to converge every crappy storyline into the main focus of this episode. Everyone seems to be more worried about ethical dillemas than anything else this season. A sad yawn of an episode to nearly cap the season.
