It appears that this may have been a documentary originally put together about 20 years ago, based on the estimated ages of the people being interviewed. Clapton himself was interviewed and looks quite a bit younger than he does now in 2021. Although I enjoyed the doc, I think it's very deceiving to make people believe it was done in 2021.

Nothing wrong with it. Still a must a see for Clapton fans. This was documentary was made over a quarter century ago and remastered finally for Amazon Prime Video. Besides the fact that the story is interspersed with videos of Clapton's songs from the late 80's and 90's on purpose to show Clapton and what he was doing in the present (as of say 1995 or so). I don't think this documentary ever had a wide release. I saw this documentary on Youtube years ago in terrible quality so it is nice to have a remastered version to watch in HD on Prime Video. I say "Life in 12 Bars" is the definitive Clapton documentary and this is a nice companion piece. Still a must see for Clapton fans.
Old, Boring and Non-Relevant Footage

For some reason, all the video footage provided during this documentary is from 80s videos and performances of Clapton, even when they're talking about his 60s era. Makes no sense and is chronologically confusing. The interviews appear to be from the early to mid 90s as well, despite the claim that this was released in 2021. Stopped watching once they reached the John Mayall era and they were still playing 80s footage while discussing the music, which didn't match up. Poorly done.
