Touching...

I was up at the Mammoth Film Festival last week and had the opportunity to see some good films. One standout was the short film UNDERWEAR; a poignant story that touches the heart and reminds us of the expression of love. The film is well paced, slowly drawing you in emotionally to its two elderly characters until you're hooked and invested in their lives waiting to see what happens next. The two actors are perfectly cast and provide us with a unique, quiet, and powerful love story where the spoken word is not the star. Kudos to the filmmakers. If you have the opportunity to catch this flick at a festival near you, do so, it will make your day.

Love Has No Age Limit...

"Underwear" is one of those special films that embody a beautiful and touching story, wonderful direction and most importantly… heart.

I was amazed by the youthful and touching performance of the two elderly actors who were absolutely brilliant as they took the viewer on a journey into their romance. "Underwear" is a sweet portrayal of two people experiencing the greatest gift… love, despite their age. The film-making was another joy of watching this short film. The direction and style created by the filmmakers kept the story moving in the right direction without pulling the viewer out, it enhance the story and brought the viewer closer to the characters.

I saw this film at the Mammoth Film Festival where the entire audience was taken away by the films' subtle sweetness, it's definitely a film treat and should not ignored.

Delightful and Young at Heart!

I had the pleasure to see "Underwear" at the 3rd annual Mammoth, CA film festival last week. It was so right on the mark and real, you felt like you were in the loving and tender sweet world of this "young at heart" couple who are far by distance, yet close by their love, zeal for life and each other.

Such a unique storyline and the performances were perfect! A whimsical and clever story from the heart, makes you realize we are as young as we feel and it is important to go for it each day, as we only have this day to live since we don't know what the tomorrow's will bring. Wonderful production value and unique location a must see!

3 reviews give 10/10, written within 3 days of each other, by reviewers who don't seem to have reviewed many other films. They all say more or less the same thing, as well as namechecking the Mammoth CA Film Festival of 2009. It's supposedly sweet and poignant and brilliantly made. The word 'heart' features frequently.

I haven't seen the film. Maybe it's great. But it's interesting that 3 filmgoers, who have never shown much interest in reviewing films for IMDB before or since, all suddenly and independently decide to write similar paragraphs in praise of a film less than a quarter of an hour long. The long arm of coincidence, no doubt.
