The Perfect Shot

Warning: Spoilers
Hilary Duff's acting was surprisingly not horrible in this episode, but the show is just not strong from a comedic standpoint. The storylines feel so dated and like they're written by out of touch people.

Good but....

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is one of the better episodes so far. The plot was more entertaining than some of the others , some of the jokes are just not funny but its not unbearable. I was hoping that we were gonna get more scenes with Sophie and Drew because i liked them as a couple but we were more focused on Sophie and Jesse I feel like them kissing by the end of the episode was too soon honestly and.my biggest complaint about them and this episode is THEY HAVE NO CHEMISTRY. The reason for them liking each other I dont really mind but the biggest thing is them having no chemistry i dont know if they did a chemistry test or what but they have no chemistry.

Aside from those negatives i dont really have anymore problems with this episode.

Time for the positives like i said earlier the plot was more entertaining and I really like the plot with Sid and Ellen I did enjoy that I feel that should have been the main plot of the episode. I did also like Charlie and Valentina they do have a really good dynamic.

This episode was good and better than the other episodes 7/10.

Best so far

Honestly this episode felt more mature well written and acted. It seems like this could be a good first episode for the show, characters felt organic and dinamic came naturally funny, adding Meredith with such a great actress is a great improvement. Excited to see whats its coming now that this show is going to have a S2 with 20 episodes.

I had a feeling that this episode would end like this! I'm kind of confused but loved it. Can't wait to see the next one<3. I could see from the first episode that they liked each other and there was something going on:D. I don't even know if I want them to be together or not. But I'm loving it at the moment :)))

Not very funny and a bit childish

Warning: Spoilers
Followimg lines will contain heavy spoilers.

Story line with two adult people clumsily lying to a friend's ex instead of telling her to get lost - not very entertaining.

Stealing a purse from a terrible boss - then stealing the same purse from a charity auction after somebody already paid for it is not funny, it is what a 5 years old would do to hide his crime. Also she hates her job but would do cringey things to keep it?

Kissing your friend 5 minutes after you had a fight with your boyfriend does not seem to me like something a 30 year old would do.

All in all - so far this season characters are doing dumb thjngs every episode. Would understand if this was a gang of teenagers but not people over 30.

Give Me A Break

Warning: Spoilers
I was hoping that the episode at the inn would be a turning point for this show. I loved the dynamic between Drew and Sophie and they literally tore it down with the smallest disagreement ever. There's no way that detail would push someone to cheat immediately after being said. Jessie and Sophie have literally zero chemistry. They completed rushed their relationship so the last scene had no feeling whatsoever. Not even the Lumineers as a backing track could add any emotion to that scene. Right now, Charlie and Sid are carrying the show.

They better take a good long look at what made that one episode so much better than the rest and apply it to season 2 or this show will continue to get worse.

Genuinely Good

I really enjoyed this episode & it felt the most reminiscent of the original HIMYM. I never thought the show was bad but felt it's been getting it's footing and this was the best episode yet. I'm rooting for Sophie and Jesse so this episode made me happy. Also I loved seeing Leighton Meester.
