The Duplass gang bring their characteristically experimental anthology format to the "not safe to film with humans" era courtesy of a creative collage of ancient films. There's a nice "late night TV" vibe but each one feels overstretched - like it would have worked much better if each was ten mins or less. The funnier ones are bearable - but the more allegorical, such as this one particularly, are so laborious and hard-to-follow that I couldn't bring myself to go further. A shame, really, I'll stick to Room 104!
