Down with men.

Hobbo decides to look for his mother, Howard begins searching for Agnes, leaving Marina with an axe to grind.

I rather liked this, definitely as daft as they come, but it did have some moments of amusement. Russ Abbott is put to better use here, his comedy timing is beyond question. You'd have to wonder how old his mother would be though.

Definitely better use of The Policemen, Cooper and Walsh are no longer just observers on the side, they're now very much part of the action, they are starting to become a little more surreal though, loved the barbecue, and their reluctance to get involved in the bump.

Don't tell me you can have her delivered now, that is without a doubt the best line the show has had for years, that whole sequence where the ladies discuss her is very funny.

7/10.

This Bradshaw is not for train timetables

There seems to be more focus on the two policemen in this episode. PC Cooper and PC Walsh get a parking ticket and debate who is responsible based on which side of the car the ticket was placed.

I am not really sure if this is ironic philosophical comedy or just desperate stuff.

Before they would sit on a lay-by and have a chat. Now they are having a barbecue and declining to get involved in a collision between two drivers.

The main thrust of the episode is newcomer Hobbo looking for his natural mother and knocking on a unsuspecting ladies house. I was actually surprised that Hobbo is supposedly born in the early 1960s. This makes him to be under the age of 50 when this was broadcast. If you wanted the audience to believe Hobbo is under 50 ,then do not cast Russ Abbott who was born in 1947 and is wearing a wig!

Marina going off men and sitting in a shopping trolley as a protest was a memorable scene. How did she fit in?

It is obvious that the stories are being spread around many characters. Barry has to contend with Toby living next door to him, Toby seems to rely on Morton and Barry to do things for him. Once again when you need something second hand Auntie Wainwright's is the place to go. Even in 2009, no one has heard of Ebay.
