Really fun
prazerpedro7 April 2024
Well, even though I don't understand half of the episode's references since I'm not American and I don't have much knowledge of underground film collections from the 80s and 90s, it really proves effective in captivating the audience through its trademark characters and extravagant situations. By Justin Roiland, who has already shown this art in both Rick and Morty and Koalamen and the scene with the painting of little Pupa really touched me, as well as finding Stallone's participation interesting since even though I haven't watched most of his films, I I understand its cultural impact on American and world cinematographic culture.

Keeping on keeping it real with the references

Man, I thought the show Archer referenced a lot of shows/movies, but Solar Opposites takes the cake. I mean, this episode references the 90's thriller "Daylight," and I thought I was the only person in the world who has ever seen it.

Maybe they rely on references in order to help the audience relate better with the show too much. But it kinda works. It's fun, stupid, but fun.

The episode if your typical Solar Opposites episode; it's fun, quick-witted, but kinda panders too much to the audience at times.

What has happened this season?

What is going on with this season. The jokes are not funny and will age poorly and the pacing has been atrocious. Why do we need an A, B, C, and D plot in one episode.
