Final Episode

What an amazing final episode to one of my favorite shows. In the end Fallon & Liam got their baby, Robert got his bride, Dex was found alive, Kirby and Amanda committed to each other, the Carrington empire was secure, and Stephen returned unexpectedly. I've been a loyal viewer of this show since its beginning five years ago, and I will miss it so much. Kudos to all the actors and all the guest stars for a great run. I especially liked discovering new talent like Elizabeth Gillies who is also a talented singer and songwriter. Grant Show was also a welcome addition being a seasoned performer from 90210 and Melrose Place. There were so many new storylines, but I'm glad they kept the feud between Crystal and Alexis. Thank for bringing back this wonderful show.

Bittersweet.

I'm going to miss this one. I really loved tuning in for all of the outlandish antics and really amazing acting. The show never got boring. I think there was so much more story that could have been told here. I would have continued to tune in for many more seasons. I like that there were few actually safe from potentially being there one episode and not being there the next. Losing Anders sucked. Sam was a gift that was totally unexpected and I was so glad he was there throughout for the show. Fallon was a boss b*tch and I'd listen to her sing her grocery list. And that's saying something because I typically despise singing in shows. I think I'll for sure be rewatching this series from time to time for years to come.

Perfect ending for an entertaining new take on the Super Soap
SallyWilliams19 September 2022
I really enjoyed the remake, because they created their own version of Dynasty, but included many references to the original. Fallon was such a great character, much better than the old version, who was 1st an annoying character, and then kinda boring. Liz did a fantastic job there. Most of the actors have been great on this show. My other favourites were Rafael as Sammy-Jo, Sam Underwood who perfectly displayed wacky Adam, Elaine Hendrix & Michael Michele were the perfect Alexis vs Dominique dynamite duo. The storylines were campy & funny, and often over the top like back in the 80s. I'll miss this show, but great that they ended on a high.

Goodbye Dynasty!

Warning: Spoilers
So heartbroken the show is over. The finale was sweet and obviously the best thing ever is they finally brought Steven back which is what the fans have been requesting for years. Everyone's story wrapped up nicely and I think they did a good job saying goodbye considering the cancellation was probably not foreseen when this season was being written. I mean Steven taking off his mask in front of Sam, you only get these moments on shows like Dynasty! It was messy, it was camp, it was full of twist during all of its run (and let's not forget all of the mess with the actors changing lol - I saw someone saying how amazing it would have been if they brought the og Cristal back and just fu--ed things up!) and I will honestly miss the show so much.

Loved it!

I absolutely loved this series from start to finish and I am sad to see it end. I loved this last episode, there was nothing I wished could have happened differently (Oo except from killing Anders off. Really disappointing).

I am pleased that Steven returned for this! I am happy that Fallon and Liam got their happy ending too!

I did feel for Adam in a way as he seemed to begin redeeming himself, but he was not the best person 99% of the time so his end was fitting.

Elizabeth Gillies has just been incredible throughout. I admire her so much and always found myself laughing at her. The whole cast was brilliant.

Goodbye Dynasty.

Brilliant Episode
RECB323 May 2024
This is an outstanding episode of this series to end the series for all fans and viewers of this series to watch and enjoy. The crew definitely knew what they were doing when they were creating this episode. The storyline of this episode was great and strong. The cast selection was outstanding. They really committed and connected to the storyline and to their respective characters. The chemistry that was displayed throughout this episode between the cast members was sensational. This episode was an absolutely splendid way to finish a real tremendous series that is for everyone to watch and enjoy.

Disappointing how quickly they wrapped this up

I am going to be honest. I loved this new creation and the queerness of it all. Despite the incredible change of actors for Crystal and Alexis, which were rather annoying and unbelievable in my humble opinion, storylines were great. But Nicolette Sheridan was way better then the new Alexis .But the way this last episode wraps it up so quickly is so disappointing. All of a sudden it is a perfect world where everyone is happy. Except maybe for Adam who found his true calling in London. Fallon was great however and the real center of the show. So sad it was cancelled, but so is life I guess. Stop.

Truly awful. I won't miss it, either.

Warning: Spoilers
As entertaining as this reboot may have been. It was abysmal. All style and no substance, with cheap clothing. It started out strong, but by season 3, the show was just taking the meaning of guilty pleasure and trashy soap, too literally. With bad writing and forced sarcasm. So what was I expecting watching this series finale? Nothing, rather than something different, for a change. It ended exactly how you could've predicted. No jaw dropping twist (the crazy realistic looking face mask, was already tacky in Pretty Little Liars) or game changer moments. Writers clearly decided to follow the last minute plan, and stuck with it. Which made this episode so dull, and the six months flash forward, so excruciating to watch. Not even Fallon's ironic last little one liner, was worth the closing scene. I recall liking the first two seasons, the OG series callbacks, the musical on season 3, some part of season 4, and getting into the trial storyline this season. But I am sick of those shows with chaotic writing, where writers think juggling between storylines, will make them more exciting. That's the exact opposite, it makes them lack focus and hard to watch. And even though I tuned in for most of the cast members, I couldn't help but think why they agreed to be in this, in the first place. Hopefully CW will close shop soon, because with this one ending last year. I can't think of ONE good remaining show on their lineup. And to be honest, I think it's the last series of theirs I will ever watch.
