"Trouble" indeed...

Warning: Spoilers
This episode of Polly has one of the best titles in the show. Wanna know why? It fits this episode perfect, it's got a ton of problems. Even for a "Polly Pocket" episode, this one has some major flaws. For instance, it disregards the events of "Spa Daze" from season 1 where Polly learned to get off her phone once in a while. In this episode, she can't stop talking about selfies (even in the ending Lila and her grandma get upset at her for more selfies). Nice plot sinkhole, writers.

The entirety of this episode is annoying. Polly just wants to help people... which in this episode is repetitive and tiring, just for plot filler. The whole thing ends up becoming boring and has a weak payoff when Polly's phone conveniently dies the second she gets it back.

It is also very unfunny and there are no jokes that land. Shani was by far the most annoying cameo because of her weird little monster project she made (because her friends were gone) that she kept going on about in this episode. On that note, Polly's also really annoying and Lila's really pointless. All she did in this episode was make comments about fashion. She really didn't need to be in this episode, all she did was create a distraction when Polly was retrieving a cop's badge.

I hate the fact that they have to make the characters one of three things: stupid, a goody two shoes, or "evil". In this episode, Polly's just the goody two shoes helping everyone like Mother Teresa. The characters in this show in general are bad with the exception of Griselle, but how they're portrayed in this episode is especially weak.

3/10.
