I love it

It can be perceived as a sort of small art collection. Portraits, image of a train, a white man, an African woman, her baggages, her perfume bottle , looks , an old couple. The beauty of images is obvious. And it is enough because the purpose is to promote the tolerance in simple and convincing manner. The story ? Yes, it this case the story must be imaginated by the viewer. But it is a good point of it. And the significant piece of its delicate seduction force.

Impasse is a wonderful film, You can tell it is a wonderful film because I like it. Due to the fact that I like it. The Film is really brought together by the fact that I like the film. Have I mentioned that I liked the film? The symbolism is very deep due to the fact that I like the film. The fact that I like the film really brings the fact that like the film together! You see, When I like a film it really is liked by me due to the fact that I watched the film AND liked it. The reason I give the film a 10/10 is because of the fact that I liked the film.

It does not make any sense at all

Warning: Spoilers
"Impasse" is a Dutch short film from 2009, so two more years only until this one will have its 10th anniversary. The writer and director is Bram Schouw and this is still among his most known effort a decade later. There is no spoken language in here, so you won't need subtitles no matter which languages you do(n't) speak. This is the story of a skinhead sitting in the train next to a black woman and from the circumstances and minor things happening we are supposed to believe that they do not only like each other, but that even some kind of attraction develops. Sounds pretty random and unrealistic doesn't it? Yes it is. Nothing about it really made sense and this applies 100% to both characters and the way they behave in here. The situation just has nothing to do with reality. With the man being a random non-Nazi guy, it would just have been an uninspired and boring movie, but the path they actually took made it a truly unauthentic piece and it's a shame to see how many people fell for it apparently looking at the rating here on IMDb. I personally think that films about tolerance do rather harm to the subject than helping it when they are poorly made like this one. That's why I give it a major thumbs-down and don't recommend checking it out.
