Not buying it
CrimeDrama125 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Sorry, not buying it. There is no way a woman like Valentina, who is dating Jose, a jealous drug dealer, is clueless about why Jose told her to send those text messages and how Gabriel would interpret them! Just scare him? No way! She really didn't have a motive to kill Gabriel but she MUST see the big picture in a love triangle. Meanwhile, the clueless look on Maggie's face when OA storms off after arguing with Vertiz is ridiculous. She should EXPECT tension between those two guys. For once it's not the writers, it was the director. Two female actress are made to look clueless. It is absurd.

Keep up thus type of storyline and viewers will disappear like a puff of white smoke.

Okay

The story itself was okay, not great, but somewhat interesting and entertaining. The biggest problem with this show was Agent Nestor Vertiz. I'm sorry, but he is just repulsive. I'm not sure if Josh Segarra is a bad actor, or it's just the way he's playing this part (I've never seen him in anything before) but he's just smarmy. He's not remotely likable, and I honestly find it really hard to believe that Maggie would waste two minutes of her time on a guy like him. Apparently he's been added just to add conflict, which isn't really needed; in fact, all of the posturing and chest-puffing between him and OA just distracts from the story and the rest of the agents. I'm not crazy about Tiffany, either, but she seems to be improving. Nestor just keeps getting worse.
