This was filmed amidst the year that 2020 was, and Alexander and Richard keep up their good cheer, along with the contestants to bring the Pointless Christmas 2020 special. I'm not sure if there was an actual studio audience due to social distancing, but there was a laughter in the background, probably a laugh track.
