M. Night Shyamalan‘s Glass, the much-anticipated sequel to both 2002’s Unbreakable and 2017’s Split, is currently filming in Philadelphia. Following on from Bruce Willis’ shock cameo as David Dunn in the aforementioned pic, Glass will feature the super-strong hero facing James McAvoy’s “The Horde,” with Samuel L. Jackson also returning as Dunn’s old nemesis Elijah “Mr. Glass” Price.
And with Price coming back for more, so is one key location from the original movie. Unbreakable fans will remember that a depressed Mr. Glass went into a comic book store at one point where he found an issue of the fictional Sentryman comic. This inspires him to get back to work in convincing David that he’s a hero.
While talking to Star News Philly, Bill Fink – who owns Ontario St. Comics, the store seen in the film – revealed that Glass will also make use of his shop.

M. Night Shyamalan’s much-anticipated Glass, the sequel to both 2003’s Unbreakable and 2017’s Split, has been in production for about a month now. Last week, we got our first glimpse at one of the movie’s triumvirate of stars on set – namely, Samuel L. Jackson back in character as the titular Mr. Glass – and now, a juicy set video reveals Jackson’s co-stars: Bruce Willis and James McAvoy.
Not only that, but it sees the pair locked in a fierce fist fight. It appears that neither of them is able to best the other, until an unknown third character runs into shot to break up the clash.

Though Willis is hooded, that’s unmistakably him, as the figure McAvoy’s fighting is wearing David Dunn’s iconic oversized rain coat.

M. Night Shyamalan’s much-anticipated Glass, the sequel to both 2003’s Unbreakable and 2017’s Split, has been in production for about a month now. So far, though, we’ve had next to no glimpses of the movie, which will see Bruce Willis, as the super-powered David Dunn, face James McAvoy’s psychotic collection of personalities known as The Horde. Thanks to these new set photos, though, we now have our first look at Samuel L. Jackson returning as the film’s third main player, the titular Mr. Glass.
The images show Glass Aka Elijah Price looking much like we last saw him fifteen years ago. Though his hair is greying and he’s growing out a beard, the character remains in a wheelchair from the injuries he picked up in Unbreakable. Likewise, his fashion sense hasn’t changed, as he still favours an eccentric long purple overcoat and scarf. Fun...

As you know, M. Night Shyamalan is currently shooting his new film Glass, which is a sequel to both Unbreakable and Split. Glass will bring an end to this superhero and supervillain trilogy.
Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, and Anya Taylor-Joy are all set to reprise their roles in the movie. Thanks to a set photo that has surfaced, we now have our first look at Samuel L. Jackson back in the role of Mr. Glass!
He's sporting his classic purple outfit but this time his hair is much more grey. I've gotta say... it's pretty awesome seeing him back as this menacing character! I honestly never thought it would happen, so the fact that it is is pretty damn cool. Do you remember the final speech he made to David Dunn?
"Do you know what the scariest thing is? To not know your place in this world.

The next thriller from M Night Shyamalan is now in production, with Disney lined up as its distributor...
We have to be a little bit careful how we talk about M Night Shyamalan's Glass, since its story hinges on some of the writer-director's other hit films. All we can say is, if you don't want to know anything about the forthcoming thriller, look away now.

Still here? Good. If so, you'll probably be aware that Glass is not only the sequel to Shyamalan's Split, which starred James McAvoy, but also a follow-up to his earlier hit, Unbreakable. As such, the film will star Samuel L Jackson and Bruce Willis - stars of Unbreakable - as well as Split's McAvoty and Anya Taylor-Joy.

Two supporting players from Unbreakable will be reprising their roles in the upcoming Glass..
M Night Shyamalan is about to start filming work on Glass, which will be a follow-up of sorts to his 2000 hit, Unbreakable. The movie already has a cast that sees Bruce Willis reprising the role of David Dunn, whilst Samuel L Jackson is back as well. Furthermore, James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy are also in the ensemble this time.
The last fresh casting news we had on the movie was a week or two back, when we learned that Sarah Paulson was being added to the film. Now, though, we also hear that Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard, both of whom featured in Unbreakable, will be returning for the new movie too.
Production begins imminently on the film, which has a release date of January 2019. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more…...

Disclaimer: This post will contain spoilers for the film Split.
M. Night Shyamalan is officially back! Last year saw the release of a small found footage film called The Visit. It wasn’t exactly plastered all over the marketing (for good reason), but it marked a promising comeback for the suspense director. However, when this year’s Split hit theaters, it was something of a revelation.
The film may not have been as strong as Shyamalan’s earlier work, but it was a definite step up. Additionally, with its mythology tied to Unbreakable — arguably the filmmaker’s best offering to date — we seemed poised to see a true renaissance of his work. This idea is bolstered by Shyamalan’s next film — a sequel to both Unbreakable and Split called Glass.

For seventeen years, fans of M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable have wished for a sequel to the moody superhero drama. Now it looks like the filmmaker is making their wish come true: Shyamalan announced today on Twitter that his next film will be Glass, a sequel to both Unbreakable and his most recent film Split. This news gives away a twist involving Split: a brief ending scene reveals it’s set in same universe as Unbreakable.
“My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable And #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film,” Shyamalan tweeted, confirming that Unbreakable’s Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson would both return, along with Split’s James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Unbreakable focused on depressed security guard David Dunn (Willis) who, after surviving a deadly train crash, realizes he’s never been sick or injured in his entire life.

Before we start – this news will spoil Split. If we’re cool with doing that, or if you’ve seen it already, let’s continue… One of the biggest kept secrets of last year was the final scene in M. Night Shyamalan’s multiple-personality kidnapping thriller Split. Yes, a couple of the movie sites saw it early and each claimed an ‘exclusive’ on the news that it was a semi-sequel to the director’s superlative 2000 film Unbreakable.
Throughout the film there was absolutely no hint that the film existed in the same universe as the one which held Bruce Willis’ David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson’s Mr. Glass. When the final scene played out, in its calm and understated manner, jaws dropped as audiences realised they were watching a sequel people had nbeen clamouring for since the turn of the century.
The success of Split, thanks...

When M. Night Shyamalan’s Split arrived in theaters, it’s fair to say that audiences probably didn’t expect a whole lot from it. Fans of the director’s early work were in for quite a surprise though when it was revealed that the film actually took place in the same cinematic universe as Unbreakable, with Bruce Willis’ David Dunn even showing up near the end to tie it all together. With the origin story for James McAvoy’s villain now out of the way, it’s time to start looking ahead to what comes next, and according to the director himself, that’ll be Unbreakable 2 (or Split 2 – a title hasn’t been chosen yet).
Details on what the sequel will involve are scarce, as you can imagine, but we know that Shyamalan already has an outline ready and will be working with both Disney and Universal to bring his vision to life.

Twenty years ago today, Quentin Tarantino and Harvey Weinstein unveiled the filmmaker’s sophomore movie — an ambitious anthology of crime stories, all interconnected and metatextualized — at a late Saturday night screening at the Cannes Film Festival. A little over three hours later, as the crowd staggered out of the Palais des Festivals, they knew they had an audience favorite on their hands. Soon, they would be able to add Palme d’Or winner, Best Picture Oscar nominee, the first indie film to break the $100 million mark, a gamechanger and a modern classic to the list.

Bruce Willis is up for an "Unbreakable" sequel. He says that M. Night Shyamalan is still thinking about it, as the filmmaker has told MTV News in the past. Even Samuel L. Jackson is interested in the project. With all three central forces seemingly on board, could "Unbreakable 2" be far off?
Both Jackson and Willis have spoken about Shyamalan's plans for the second "Unbreakable" installment, which would focus on the continued and increasingly violent conflict between their characters of Elijah "Mr. Glass" Price and David Dunn, the unbreakable man. Assuming that story is still in place, here are a few other suggestions for where the "Unbreakable" franchise should go.
Established History: I love the idea of "Unbreakable 2" opening with Mr. Glass escaping from an institution, but I would want the story to reflect how much time has passed between the making of the films. Elijah has been holed up in confinement for years,...

Unbreakable is a film either loved or hated. People who hate it tend towards two poles: bemoaning that it has silly super hero elements stapled onto reality, or complaining that tepid and boring reality has infected a perfectly serviceable super hero flick. I prefer to apply the Reeses Axiom in this particular case.
Shyamalan originally envisioned the film as a three act story in the traditional structure of a super hero narrative: origin story, maturation into power, confrontation with nemesis. Shyamalan decided during the writing process that the origin story in this case was the most interesting story to tell and deserved to be expanded into the full length of the feature. That decision is derided by many fans of comic book films,...
