Ruby wants to practice playing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the piano but Max keeps interrupting her because he is looking for his firetruck. Ruby takes him outside and waters the dirt to make mud so he can play with his submarine muddily. Turns out the firetruck was inside the piano and made a sound when Ruby pressed on a key.
Max gets his sandwich all over him and Ruby takes him upstairs for a bath. Max gets past her several times to grab food (sherbet, green tub, and grape juice). He ends up tipping each container in the bath. When Max sniffs it looks so cute. Ruby ends up making him take a shower instead and Max points at Ruby's dirty apron.
In the evening it is time to go to sleep. Ruby tucks Max in but Max wants his elephant that he cannot find. Ruby gets up repeatedly after hearing Max look his toy noisily. Ruby ends up giving each of the toys on her own bed to Max and when demonstrating how to sleep with them, she falls asleep in Max's bed. Max spots his red elephant underneath the bed and hugs it saying, "Elephant" in the cutest voice. He tells his sister, "Good night Ruby" and goes to her room to sleep in Ruby's bed.
