Indie Go, a division of Vci Entertainment, is set to release Jerry and Mike Thompson’s odd 2009 comedy “Thor at the Bus Stop” on DVD this April. What in the hell is Thor doing hanging around a bus stop, you ask? Apparently the hero wanted to take one last trip through the suburbs before embarking on an quest against evil. Along the way, he’ll encounter a colorful group of seedy characters whose stories intertwine in amusing ways. Epic. Perhaps you’ll glean more from this synopsis: Thor At The Bus Stop is a fantasy/comedy about the mythical Thor, the Norse god of lightning, making his final journey through a suburban neighborhood on the day he is going to die fighting to save the world. Thor starts a chain reaction of interweaving story lines packed with colorful characters, a “Pulp Fiction” vibe, and themes about goodness and the Power of Cool.

Thor At The Bus Stop is a comedy that begins with Thor, the Norse God of Lightning, as he makes his final journey through a suburban neighborhood on the day he is going to die fighting to save the world - and nobody cares. Thor starts a chain reaction of interweaving story-lines packed with zany characters and themes about goodness and the power of cool. Thor at the Bus Stop from Mike Thompson on Vimeo. LEEE777 - The Thunder Clap Special Edition of Thor At The Bus Stop DVD is already out to own with an extra of over 90 minutes of special features too. I recommend though, a crate of ice cold beer as you settle down and watch this sucker with a loved one or your buddies.

C/U of a road from the front of a moving car’s Pov. The yellow line flickers. Thunder roars in the distance. We hear a voice:
“I’m just saying it’s weird, man, that’s all.”
“Ok, big deal, it’s weird. So what.”
“So, it’s sad, man, I mean there’s a lot of interesting things going on, but we’re so isolated, so detached that we can’t even tell… and what’s worse? We can tell, and we don’t even care. Nobody cares, and that’s exactly the problem”.
The car slows as it passes what appears to be a big lumberjack partially dressed as a Viking. The suggestion is made that, for example, this guy may be interesting.
“So, what are you suggesting?...
