By far the best of the series--just be prepared to be shocked!

Warning: Spoilers
HUGE SPOILERS CONTAINED WITHIN!! I MEAN IT--STOP READING UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH, IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT!! I assume that if you watch this film you're probably aware that this is the third film in a bizarre series of three short films about the dreaded Zog. Well, although the third film completely contradicts the first two films (particularly the second one), it's also the best of the series--even though HUGE SPOILER COMING--it turns out that there really are no real Zog.

The film picks up with the Earth invasion fleet heading towards planet Zog. It seems to be taking much, much longer to get there than they'd anticipated, as the ships have been traveling for 2000 years. In the interim the Zog have taken on an almost mythical quality and lore abounds. In fact, since they have been indoctrinated about the dreaded Zog for so long but have never even seen one, many on the ship begin to wonder if the Zog even exist. Their leader of this underground movement, the Anti-Zog, is hated by the King and much of the film is spent trying to find and destroy this menace to their dogma.

At this point, the film focuses on the General. He and the King decide to fake a movie purportedly made by Zog--showing these "perverted" beings who have genitalia for heads and heads for genitalia! Using some bizarre cult of contortionists they make this film.

Eventually, however, though a series of events, the General has now come to believe in the Anti-Zog and his god, Elvis. When the King discovers this, the General is tracked to the Anti-Zog hideout and a massacre occurs. Only the General and his wife manage to escape and using a couch-like time travel device, they travel way back in time to Zog. There on planet Zog, they find no one and the place is a wonderful garden of Eden. And, it turns out that the General and his wife are "Abe and Eve" and the evil snake is the General's penis (no, I am not halucinating--this is just typical Phil Mulloy potty humor). As for the film, it's now floating in space and when people of the future find it, they decide to destroy these "evil Zog" and send out space ships--and the entire story begins again. This circularity is similar to that of the Planet of the Ape series, though would certainly NOT consider these cartoons to be anything like the ape films in quality or watchability!

Much of the film is obviously an attack on organized religion--a favorite whipping boy of Phil Mulloy. This is also why apparently he also loves penis humor throughout all these films and his Cowboy series. Gosh, this guy is obsessed with genitals! But, if you can get past this, the INTOLERANCE films are worth seeing--just accept them for what they are--completely anarchic, offensive, poorly animated BUT highly original and, oddly, very watchable if you want something different--and it doesn't get more different than this!!!
