A talent show is fast approaching, and Lenny takes the opportunity to impress, as a Houdini inspired escape artist.

Quite funny this one, but there's only one major significance here, that it's the final episode for Nora Batty, the last time ever that we'd get to see the wonderful Kathy Staff, and Nora's famous crinkled stockings and hat, what a servant to the show.

Definitely a well scripted episode, with some truly funny moments, this time it's not just Howard who's providing the laughs, and of course be does, but it also benefits from the presence of the much loved Cannon and Ball, the pair are very funny.

Bobby Ball was wasted on the show prior to this, the two episodes he appeared in were very average, this was altogether better in every area.

Good fun, 7/10.

In what was Nora Batty's last appearance. We find out that she provided clean & tidy and everything you can eat. Lucky Wally. If he wanted extras, Nora relaxed a bit on birthdays and cup finals.

That is where Compo went wrong, he should had been straight up to see Nora on his birthday.

It is another appearance from Cannon & Ball. Lenny is now Barry's cousin and he is practising escapology for a pub talent contest. The trouble is, he is no good at it.

Tommy Cannon gets a few lines this time as his best pal Cliff.

A much better episode in the latter years of the show, helped by Cannon & Ball. A shame then this was also their last appearance.
