Very good first episode

I have started watching the Babar series after seeing the 1999 movie, and so far, I am enjoying it very much.

These first episodes were made by Raymond Jafelice, the same director of that movie. It seems that he gets the story of the books very well, adapting it in a fun, emotional way which is also very entertaining to watch.

Wish i had seen this as a kid.

Tragic sweet and tense

This episode is beautiful but very tragic expessily the scene where his mother dies onscreen that scene is tragic but this episode is sweet and tragic. The episode is well animated it is adorable and beautiful but very tragic expessily the above mentioned reasons the scene may be a bit disturbing and sad the scene where she gets shot in slow motion and blood is shown is extremely tragic and devastating showing the childhood of the main character and the mother was beautiful too she was kind loving and sweet but she sadly was shot and the poor elephant is tramatized by it but overall the episode is tragic sweet and tense.
