Even when following the same basic formula, 'Phineas and Ferb' was often full of very interesting and inventive scenarios made great use of. That is obvious in both "Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?" and "Put That Putter Away". "Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?" is actually in my view one of the most inspired scenarios of the whole show, the overall idea is not novel but the eecution is inspired. Fans that also love miniature golf will feel nostalgic watching "Put That Putter Away".

Personally am not a fan of miniature golf, but that didn't stop me from enjoying "Put That Putter Away" thoroughly. "Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?" however is the better of the two episodes and is actually one of my favourites of 'Phineas and Ferb', namely because of Perry really shining, Doofenschmirtz actually being oddly rootable, that it executes one of the show's most inventive and unique scenarios imaginatively and how it made me nostalgic for science fiction (not my favourite genre but have always appreciated it).

The animation is still wonderfully vibrant with very rich attention to detail in both episodes ("Put That Putter Away" making one pine for a miniature golf course) and haunting atmosphere also in "Does This Duckbill Mke Me Look Fat?" The music is dynamic with the action and the theme song is insanely catchy with very clever and quotable lyrics, that are also relatable. Part of me can't help rooting for Doofenschmirtz in finding that Mr Slushy Burger jingle annoying, like a lot of jingles today it is (but that's the intent), and his evil jingles are very catchy.

Voice acting is very good, especially from Ashley Tisdale. Rob Paulsen is inspired and very entertaining casting as a mad scientist. The writing is funny and smart in both episodes, and anybody that has always loved science fiction depicted in animation will feel no different here in "Does That Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?" in the clever and nostalgic referencing. The storytelling is full of energy without being too manic, it was nice to see Stacy in a bigger role in "Put That Putter Away" and seeing Candace in platypus mode was hilarious. The Doofenschmirtz subplots are great fun and wonderfully wacky, especially in "Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?"

All the characters are great, especially Perry (adorable and tough), Doofenschmirtz and Candace, as is the voice acting all round.

Concluding, brilliant. 10/10

"Put that Putter Away"

It's refreshing to see a secondary character like Stacy get her own episode. While it doesn't developer her character, it does show that she's not just Candace's best friend. She can be funny both as a secondary character and as a main character. As for the gang, they weren't in the episode that much but they are still funny and they look really cute in those 80's costumes, especially Isabella. Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz and Perry got a really small but really funny roles. Also, that ABBA-like song, 'Disco Miniature Golfing Queen,' is really good and catchy! I humm it every time I hear it.

"Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?"

GENIUS!! Perry and Candace switching bodies is comedic gold. There's no dull moment with this idea. Doofenshmirtz fights Perry (in Candace's body) while Candace (in Perry's body) tries to stay calm as her mom unintentionally humiliates her in front of Jeremy. These stories are so hilarious! I do have to say that Doofenshmirtz's plan is a bit.... stupid.
