Funny, but sadly no Susan.

Having accidentally run over the neighbour's dog some years ago, Ben accidentally runs over the owner, Mr Casey, Ben has to be incredibly nice to him to stop him from taking legal action.

It's a funny episode, but Susan is missed here, Ben gets most of the laughs, Lindsay's dry performance is excellent throughout.

Nickolas Grace returns as Mr Casey, The Harpers infuriating next door neighbour. It is funny how Alfie has suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Good fun, 7/10.

A Susan/Zoe Wannamaker absent episode.

Having had Pauline Quirke to bounce off of in the 1st Susan-free episode of S8, this time Robert Lindsay has Nickolas Grace's returning Mr Casey (not seen since S2) for company, as Neighbour Wars begins.

It's another solid episode of a good S8 overall for 'My Family', also featuring another nice B story involving Janey/Michael/Alfie.

S8 is a good one for 'My Family', and this is another example of why.
