Sex & Nudity

  • Sex is a main topic, discussed in almost every episode. A character is shown in a car, oral sex is implied. The word 'slut' and 'whore' is used many times. Two characters are seen in their bras whilst changing. Characters make out, and sex is implied. Masturbation is mentioned in a joking manner. Two characters discuss sex, but do not engage in it. Parents are found in a car, sex is implied. A nude model is shown, his genitals are hidden by strategic furniture placement. A student accuses a teacher of sexual harrasment. Parents accidentally get high off of a pot brownie they weren't aware contained drugs. A character uses medical marijuana. Several types of drugs are discussed.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A character attempts suicide. A character overdoses, her shirt is ripped open and a needle is put into her chest. Ambulance rides and hospital visits are shown. A character's estranged mother has breast cancer, she is shown without a wig occasionally. The last episode of season two shows a rape. A teenage student struggles, and is slapped by her teacher.
