Adrien Brody turns in a masterpiece performance in this episode. I had to watch it twice. If you've never seen The Pianist, this episode will show you why he won an Oscar for Best Actor (And kissed Halle Berry on the Oscar stage. Instant legend for that!!!). In this episode, he is at war, an internal war, for his sanity. He battles the forces within: Protector of his children and the Boone estate versus the hereditary "worms" and Boone madness flowing through his veins. It's mesmerizing to watch. That shot of a vision of the Vampire God's apocalyptic future was visually horrifying, hypnotic and gorgeous. My absolute favorite episode of the series.
