A solid enough start.

The Sackler family needed a new product on the market, a blockbuster that would bring in vast sums of money, step forward oxycontin.

A pretty solid start, it's a pretty well made and well acted drama, but of course the main element here is the story itself, it still shocks me to this day, unbelievable how it was allowed to happen.

It's quite dry, so don't expect any humour, here they focused on the origins of oxycontin, how it came to be, and what motivated its development.

The US health system seems to be primarily about money, rather than actual care, this doesn't do much to deter

Matthew Broderick steals the show for me.

Pretty good, I have a feeling more is to come.

6/10.

I only wish there was more.

Almost everyone knows someone that became an addict and what it did to them. This is a top five show for me all time. The Glen character was so real, it just hurt. I can't say enough about this show and how much I loved it. I honestly just wish there was more is my only complaint. It just doesn't such a great job of tying it all together, how it affects us, doesn't matter if we use or not. I don't have a lot more to say about this show other than give it a shot and watch all the way through. To think basically one man could cause so much damage and right now that person is walking free with a bank account of 8 billion just goes to show that justice is rarely served to these men.
