Finally it becomes interesting.

I have mixed feelings about this episode, five episodes of total drivel, empty strands and daft ideas, but most things are tied up and explained, and part of me, strangely enjoyed this final episode.

George developed into exactly what I was expecting him to, Tanvi became more interesting, and I did actually chuckle at the way Havers was kitted out.

A cherry on the top of a very dry, dull cake.

Please leave it there though, I don't think we need another series.

This was good, 7/10.

Script is a downfall

A good conclusion to the series leaving things open for another series but could have been so much better. Obviously, covid restrictions affected some of the filming when phone calls and video messaging is used when quite clearly physical meetings would be more practical. Not really winter weekend TV viewing though. Things are open for another series but don't think I will be watching. Some big names not using their best abilities.

Good first series

Sorry, I don't understand the poor reviews. I love Keeley Hawes, and feel she performed extremely well as the berieved partner faced with many unfortunate surprises. There could be a second series, but it does seem Alice has finally sotrted the problems poor Harry had left behind, so maybe not. Nigel Havers and Joanna Lumley are just superb. Well worth a watch.

Unintentionally funny

Once you accept that this is standard issue ITV comedy drama rubbish it's actually quite enjoyable, if only to watch a bunch of talented actors try to make the best of a very bad job.

Due probably to the high ratings of the first episode (standard ITV trick for judging a 'hit') this has been given a second series.

Maybe it'll find a point in that time, let alone Alice.

Just watched the last part and what a waste of time, no conclusion as such, six weeks/episodes wasted!
