If you know a lot about wrestling or care about wrestling, you'll probably like it

This was a fairly decent short film about a high school wrestler who is about to face his toughest opponent of the year. It shows him prepping for this match, quite a bit of the match and his reaction after the match has completed. In high school, I wrestled for several years, so I had no trouble following the action and understanding the scoring. However, I strongly doubt that this movie would be understood by the average person and I doubt that they'd really care that much about it. This isn't being harsh--I just know that high school wrestling isn't a "glamor sport" and most people could care less about it.

Now the people who made this film knew this stuff--getting the details right and showing the INSANE work the wrestlers do to make weight. This hit home to me, as I was also nuts about losing weight when I wrestled in high school (sometimes going days without eating). In hindsight, I think this whole ordeal was pretty stupid--though try telling a teenager that!! Verdict--well made but unfortunately of very limited appeal.
