A joke?

This movie is downright embarrassing. Don't bother to watch this cliché filled disaster.

The story is extremely poor and there's nothing new or creative about it. Is the actress trying to be a teenager? I'm confused.

I was for a moment wondering if it could perhaps have worked better as an animated film for kids, but no.

The acting is awful and you can't help thinking "it's a joke".

If you read the good reviews written here, you can see that they are not about the movie itself. The producer/actress may be ambitious but making movies is not her thing.

the worst movie of all time!

Don't waste time to watch this horrible film. I suspect that Agnes-Nicole wrote all the reviews herself. She is a horrendous actress, and it's ludicrous that she portraits a 35- year-old. Heed my advice and stay away from this so called movie... The plot is weak, the acting is ATROCIOUS and you really think the whole thing is a joke. But no. It's not. Agnes-Nicole Winter was absolutely sincere when she made this movie, and that is what makes it so tragic.

Agnes Nicole (born in 1956) portrays Kristy Benedict, 35 years old. I rest my case. In short: stay away from this atrocity of a movie! You will thank me later.

And Agnes-Nicole: Are you that desperate that you feel inclined to write favorable reviews? Really!

A film that teenagers would make for a class-project

What is there to say ? This movie is ludicrous and a shame to the American film industry. Being advertised by a Swedish reality show , the expectations were already very low . But this movie , somehow, surprised me ( in a negative way )

The acting is comparable with hobby acting , which the actors all are: hobby actors . The story and message is cliché , plain and childish . The action scenes , if you can even call them that, were ridiculous. They pretty much consisted of bad and fake punches , and when they hit their target the editor just clipped the scene.

This movie is as bad as a movie can get . I'm not joking , this movie shares the same quality with movies my brother's class made for a project. The only difference is that this film is longer and even worse.

Even though it tried to make you laugh by featuring overused , boring , child-sitcommish jokes , the source of laughter was the movie's badness. Yes, I sometimes laughed at the badness of the movie. I also occasionally cried due to the badness of the movie when watching it.

I can not belive anything else rather than all these 9/10 and 10/10 are "paid" reviews. If not Agnes Nicole her self writhing them. The movie is some of the worst things I've ever seen... Seriously!!

I have to say that the film was probably the best one that I saw at the festival. Really glad it ended up winning the audience choice award and most outstanding performance for a lead actor.

I was amazed at how many great name actors they fit in to the film as well, especially for an independent. Since my wife is a big fan of Kate Linder, it was great to see her in this one with John Aniston. The Farleys were hilarious throughout the entire film, too.

Overall the plot line was pretty good and really funny, but had a tad of fix ups to do, which the producers said they were working on. Otherwise, completely awesome film. And definitely a good watch.

Much bigger than just another film on the market

I watched this film because I am a fan of Agnes-Nicole's ambition and ability to literally complete any project she wants. This film might not be the next Titanic, but I believe that it represents something much bigger than just another film on the market.

As a single mother raising her two children on her own in a foreign country, Agnes-Nicole's ability to complete this film is really an inspiration for everyone else (especially women) that has great ideas and dreams. Making a movie that looks so professional is extremely difficult. Agnes-Nicole can accomplish anything she puts her mind to and it makes me feel like the same is possible for me. She is amazing!!

Best of all, so many people are worried about being judged, but she does not care what other people think. Look at the horrible things people are saying just in these reviews. If she listened, she would not be able to do any of what she does. She is so strong and for these reasons and many more, people from this country should support this woman who disregards the naysayers and dares to take chances in life and strives for success!

One of the Best at Palm Beach - Actor break down

I went to a screening of it at Palm Beach International Film Festival. Sam Golzari and the Farley brother are HILARIOUS!!! My wife almost fell out of her seat during a driving scene with them. As Chris Farley's brothers they have some "big" shoes to fill and I must say that they provide non stop humor to the viewers. I would love to just compile all of their scenes and watch them over and over again.

John Aniston is such a Hollywood legend. He does a great job in his roll on the film, but I think dramas and day time soaps are more for him and his style of acting. He is so talented though. Kate Linder also does an awesome job in her role as the assistant.

Agnes-Nicole Winter and Rebeka Montoya are both beautiful and are pretty timid in their roles but still lovely to watch on screen.

Chad the old Altel guy even has a cameo in the film. Great to see him making the transition over to film because he really did a great job.

Good movie overall, but Global Star Films needs to move on

The people at Global Star Films really beat it with this one. They have been working on it for a while, but I have to say the progress I have seen since the first screening is amazing. I just saw it at the Palm Beach International Film Festival, where they unfortunately were restricted from winning prizes because of their late submission, but otherwise I definitely think they would have bagged a few awards.

I was hesitant to watch it again because of some of the other reviews I saw on here, but after all the hype I gave it another shot, which seemed to pay off. The film flows much better than ever too. My first viewing started with a slow opening but now it has been completely revamped with new music, cuts, transitions, scenes, and everything. Looking good!

Another Winner From Treasure Coast

Agnes-Nicole Winter is such a lovely woman. I saw the film and met her at the Treasure Coast International Film Festival. It is amazing what a person can achieve through pure tenacity, ambition, and talent. She really just set her sights on completing a feature length family film with her two sons. Together they made this fantastic film with a touching back story that everybody should run to see.

The Gold & The Beautiful can be thought of as a cross between "Legally Blonde", "Clueless", and "Miss Congeniality". The film won the Audience Choice Award at the festival too.

The movie overall was extremely pleasant to watch and the back story is drive enough to capture an audience!

Easy to enjoy :)

Kristy has everything. Cars, money, dresses, gold, but after her birthday, her father aims to change her ways by sending her out on a treasure hunt.

Perhaps its too easy to criticize a spoof these days and depending on your outlook on life this film will either have you laughing hysterically or criticizing every single scene.

I opted for the first choice and ultimately i think it caused me to miss out on some scenes because I was too busy cracking up. It was easy to see the bigger picture and wonderful character development in this film as well.

Opening with another trip down Rodeo Drive, Agnes-Nicole Winter is pretentious, highly classy and fashion orientated. As the central person, the film outlines the foundations of her character in a few brief scenes right at the beginning. Her dad is a highly successful investor that was rarely around to care for his daughter and her mom past away years ago, leaving Kristy to turn to money for happiness and friendship. Ever since then she has not been able to change her ways.

This ideology initially is quite hilarious but as the script twists and turns through some wonderfully set up acts of heartache, comedy, and happiness. Agnes-Nicole is perfect at acting up her life in an exaggerated fashion that really makes her an obvious target for critique.

For me, the film has wonderful character development and is surrounded by twists, laughs, and even romance. The film does a great job with its use of action comedy and exaggeration and is ultimately well worth it.

My wife made me see it

My wife is an independent film producer and we watch all kinds of movies together. With all the publicity from Svenska Hollywoodfruar she wanted to catch it when the opportunity came by while we were on vacation in Palm Beach, she went for it. And since I had nothing better to do I went to see it as well.

This movie was actually pretty Okay. Svenska Hollywoodfruar makes the movie look really bad in the scenes they chose to play, but Agnes-Nicole Winter actually does a fantastic part with her role. I am sure they made a bunch of improvements since it was talked about on the show because I did not remember any part of it.

Well, so in the film you get Agnes-Nicole and a fairly decent cast to back her up. In the end, it turns out to be a light airy comedy with some very funny lines and situations packed in.

I have to say I was very glad that I was dragged along for the screening. Overall, 4.5/5 stars for this one. Agnes-Nicole is representing all the Swedes in Hollywood so give her your support.

An enjoyable family flick with a mainstream message

I love everything about this movie from the storyline to all of the talent. The movie is an extremely sweet film with something for everyone.

First off, Agnes-Nicole Winter is beautiful and her character Kristy is beautiful all the same. The character of Kristy is almost refreshing as she begins to change and grow through the film. It was a great job by John Aniston to transform her from her Beverly Hills lifestyle.

All of the other actors and actresses were absolutely perfect in their roles. This movie is not only sweet, charming and delightful, but also it conveys a great message to every one that watches that there is much more to life that material belongings. I feel this film is a perfect family film that not only sticks with the young women in the crowd, but all the dads out there too.

Pretty funny for a Paris Hilton Mockery!

In essence, the film follows the a Paris Hilton wannabe women who never grew out of her trust fund supported ways. The situation is funny because I can see this happening to so many girls in Hollywood today. It's sad, but it's true. Then on the other hand, more fathers should be like john aniston. He seems like such a great guy in the film. The idea behind the film and sending Kristy off on an adventure is really interesting and funny. I think they could have made it funnier by going to further extremes like making her more bratty and dimwitted. The whole treasure hunt concept is fantastic though because girls like that are definitely in search for something non-artificial their whole lives. So it sends a great message to the audience at the end! Definitely worth a download or DVD purchase when it is fully released!!

Hands Down, Absolutely Hilarious

This movie was hilarious! I went to the screening in Palm Beach because a friend brought me along and man was I happy I went. First off, compared with most independent films, this baby was packed with stars! Agnes-Nicole Winter, Tony Schiena, Kevin and John Farley, John Aniston, Kate Linder, Ed Gale, Sir Ivan, and even that skate boarding dog from youtube...Hello! The humor is perfect for families. My friend and I were cracking up during bar scene with Chad the Altel guy from back in the day. Agnes-Nicole Winter does a fantastic job acting in this one too. I guess the character isn't too far away from home...just kidding...She spoke after the screening and wow is she an intelligent speaker or what? The movie gives her a completely different image, but seeing her in person just topped off the whole event!

Really not half bad!

Just saw it at the festival last week and it really was a bit "cute" and "silly." It's not a film that I would walk in to with over the moon expectations, but instead expect a fun film and that will bring smiles and laughs throughout.

It was funny to watch and see how many celebs are in this piece for an independent. John Aniston's father, Chris Farley's brothers, Tony Schiena from all those action flicks, Daisy Lang - the world champion female boxer, the skateboarding dog from TV, Ed Gale, and Sam Golzari from 21 and American Dreamz. So really not a bad group of people to watch for a bit.

The story does go through a series of twists so watch carefully, but at the end it really pulls together and leaves you wanting more.

I wouldn't consider the movie thrilling, but it is definitely entertaining. If you ware looking for a light hearted film that will make you smile and giggle then this is the movie to see.

Good Family Flick

This film is a bright, colorful, artfully costumed confection about a spoiled Beverly Hills girl. The comedy is rich, the action is adrenaline pumping, and the romance in this movie will make you fall in love with it. The actors are amazing and professional. It seems to be that the whole set is highly professional! I am looking forward to seeing "The Gold & The Beautiful" progress with fame. It is very well put together film with a strong story line. Very nice work! This is definitely an extraordinary family film with a great cast, amazing picture, and jaw-dropping twists! I Highly recommend EVERYONE to see this film with they're family!

A Big Surprise

I recently had the pleasure of screening the film The Gold & The Beautiful. I was unfamiliar with the filmmaker and actors before the viewing, but now I can say I am a fan of all. The story about a treasure hunt is well written, directed and acted.

Jack Serino is a gifted director who shot beautiful scenes and portrayed the story at a pace that made watching the film effortless. He also pulled great performances out of his cast, mainly actress Agnes-Nicole Winter.

I recommend The Gold & The Beautiful for anyone that is a fan of new, fresh and great movies. It's definitely a pleasant surprise.
