Strong eventful episode

Mrs Kent reveals some important information and Bosch follows up more sources relating to Daisy's murder.

We see the fallout of Mrs Kent's cooperation with the LAPD and it leads to a number of suspenseful sequences that are very well done. There is a nice bit of irony associated with how events are unfolding with the 308 characters.

The Daisy investigation has several good scenes of character exchanges involving Bosch and others. I am invested in the outcome of it and the fate of the character Elizabeth, who the writers have used well since her introduction.

For me the Avril investigation continues unfold plausibly, but has not included any scenes that have hooked me yet and likewise the mayoral campaign of the character Irving. I find it hard not to compare certain aspects unfavourably to 'The Wire', due to the visual style, realistic procedural detail and involvement of certain actors. I do though think this is my favourite episode of this season since the opener.

Gotta give it to the editors

"Are you worried? These guys are all talk." ..... I really hope so.

The cliff hangers at the end of each episode are so well done.

I think Bosch is the one and only TV/movie production that actually managed to surpass its original source. Peter Jackson came close with Lord of the Rings, same with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Larsson. But Bosch shows that TV can be better than its source literature.

Another Narrow Escape

The widow manages, along with that nasty attorney, to manipulate the system. She ends up responsible for a death. Bosh spends more time on the Daisy case which has replaced his tunnel vision concerning his mother in previous episodes. We continue to see the terrorists looking to do harm to the police and the state. Maddie is closed to some bad stuff.

Badly-edited, contrived and melodramatic

My overall rating of "Bosch"'s Season 6: 3/10

Really, everything's said in the headline: the scenes are badly stitched together; the logic of the narrative goes out of the window (imagine if Bosch ever met people who _didn't_ have photographic memory and _didn't_ immediately admit to old crimes when pressed the tiniest bit - how would he ever solve his cold cases then?); and I'm tired of that discomfort-reporting pseudo-#MeToo plotline, even if that's what policework has legitimately turned to in modern day USA.
