Scotland.. Ceilidh music. Two friends in a toilet , arguing. And, at the first sigh, this is all. In fact, it is a film about love. Not in pink- formal forms but as high need to define the nature of relation, for be sure about the feelings of the other, for define your sacrifice , to expose your insecurity and fear. A conflict between young men, impecable constructed as definition, step by step, of characters and the use of the words as help signals. Beautiful performances, splendid storytelling. And the fair end.

Boring

Oh dear Ducky. What a to-do! Or much ado about nothing in fact. Overwrought camp histrionics from Dan, played by Joe Sefton whose acting career stuttered to a halt after this film and was non-existent before. And on the evidence of this showing, we have been spared plenty.

Ben Walsh playing Rory was equally unconvincing and gave up acting after one more short. Neither actor should have even thought they could carry a rôle with any degree of poise.

As for the "plot", did Dan honestly think taboos would be broken at a traditional event? The whole thing was over-the-top drama-queen nonsense.

It's only ten minutes long (thank goodness) but you'll never get that time back if you make my mistake and watch it.
