. . . as I. L. L. P. was initially telecast as Bullwinkle's Corner on Thursday, Dec. 24, 1959. This Little poem was originally authored by Jane Taylor (1783-1824), of course. Jane most famously penned those immortal lyrics "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." Ms. Taylor obviously had a strong affinity for Little things, specializing in children's verse. Jane was outlived by her mother, the author Ann Martin, as the Twinkling lady was cut down prematurely by female cancer. Jane's sister also was named Ann, and many of their most famous odes were lumped together in anonymously published editions to create more work for future literary historians and English Literature doctoral candidates.
