Decent episode

This was a good episode, I liked that it's taking the show into a different angle but it just drags on and on. I'm glad they made it but someone should tell Netflix that we're okay with 20-30 minutes episodes.

Yes, in small town Germany a shopkeeper will give a stranger his theories about who integrates into German society and who not... Clearly the authors of this story have not visited any foreign country, ever...

And the show drops again in quality

This episode drags along the story, with something we might want to know more but isn't worth knowing and yet it makes it even bigger than it should.

As with episode 1, this feel stuffed with filler and I recommend reading a resume of the episode.

TOTALLY UNREAL

The young Anna and her father, despite being Russian, speak perfect English to each other but when the father is later interviewed by the American journalist he needs an interpreter? The dialogues among all characters in this episode are totally far-fetched, let alone the various national stereotypes who are spread out here and there. This episode is just a filler before the finale. Very boring and badly acted.

Disappointing! Negative Stars

Warning: Spoilers
If the real-life reporter really did sneak around a small German town, trespassed on private property, badgered people, dug up the past, left her newborn child all in an attempt to scoop a story, it makes Americans look really vain, selfish, arrogant, and, most importantly, really stupid. It makes Americans look like we deserve to know absolutely everything, and that no secret should be kept from us. Sometimes it's better just to leave things alone, and this should have been left alone. This whole episode was worthless, and made the lead journalist, both in the show and real life, look like she belonged in the Malibu "resort". Worst episode EVER!

Unnecessary and untrue.

While this show have had me very engaged and interested in who Anna is and what makes her tick. The real story is that the journalist never spoke to Anna's dad, and the whole story of them sitting and the dinner table talking about her childhood when the viewer know it's just completely made up belittles the viewer and this show for me. And even if this doesn't have to be taken from what actually happened then at least make it good and interesting. Now it just felt like a filler episode with no real conclusion to it.

The story itself is good enough and should have ended at episode 7, with maybe a round-up finale on episode 8 showing more what Anna is up to these days and maybe some moral point to the story.

What was good about this show for me is the mystery and intrigue around Anna and this episode just took that feeling away from me and made me kind of just finish the show without much interest, and I'm sad to say that because I really did enjoy to first 7 episodes a lot.
