Deeper and deeper we go.

Diana's in a complete state of shock when it transpires that Geoffrey had changed his will, leaving the vast amount of his money to a young woman, Mark investigates.

There's a lot going on, the trouble is, that if you are aware of Durbridge's work you have a basic idea of where it's going, that said it's clever, it's layered, with lots going on, more than enough to keep you intrigued.

It's perhaps a little obvious in the delivery, possibly one or two bits could have been played out differently, such as Thelma's phone call, but I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

Considering this is over fifty years old it's so watchable, and it fits the bill for whodunit lovers like me.

One of my only gripes here, the other Diana, I found the performance of Paddy Glynn a little bit wooden.

6/10.
