Patty reads her father's horoscope in the newspaper and cautions him against a car accident. He brushes it off, but gets into an accident coming out of the driveway. Patty decides to read horoscopes to raise money to buy her mother a birthday present. She studies books and decorates her room to turn it into a fortune telling parlor, with a line of paying customers. Martin forbids her from receiving any more payments, however. Patty talks Cathy into also taking clients, leading to great confusion with the clientele.
