The first half of film offers a pure romance. Fresh, realistic, seductive, in some measure , provocative.

The second is about terrible pain, undefined, uncured , perturbing each aspect of the life of Elishka.

And this is the source of bitterness and realism of story - a situation in which the love becomes hopeless , in which the final decision , far to a shocking one, inspired, in some measure, by the song of martin, is normal.

I admitt, Martanske lode is a film who I love. For fair acting, for the fair story, for the details of a sufferance having in its body two people , loving each other , looking for a reasonable answer to their incertitude.

Sure, far to be remarkable. Almost cold for its minimalist. But easy to feel it and honest at whole.

Miserable

If you want to see a movie about a woman who suffers from an internal pain that cannot be heald this is a movie for you. Eliska suffers from internal pain that consums her whole personality, her romantic relationship with Martin and her friendships. The whole movie is about Eliska trying to heal. Martin is deeply affected by his girlfriends misery but he is helpless. The whole relationship is one sided, everything is only abour Eliska. Dialog is very boring, Eliska is mumbling so it's hard to understand.
